Account Information: Name, email address, password, and payment information needed to create your account.
Research Data: The audio recordings, video recordings, transcripts, participant information, and notes generated when you use Candor to conduct interviews.

2. How We Use Research Data

Your Research Data is yours. We process it solely to:

Transcribe audio/video content.
Generate AI-driven summaries and insights.
Facilitate the AI moderator functionalities during live sessions.
Improve the platform and our services.

We do not sell your Research Data. We do not use your Research Data to train our general foundation models without your explicit, written consent.

3. AI Processing

Candor uses artificial intelligence (LLMs) to process data. By using our service, you acknowledge that your data will be processed by third-party AI providers (sub-processors) such as OpenAI or Anthropic, strictly for the purpose of conducting the interviews and generating insights for you.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may export or delete your Research Data at any time through the platform settings. Once deleted, this data is permanently removed from our active servers.

5. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures (encryption in transit and at rest) to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
